CONS
1
Limited customization: Although Placeit offers a vast library of templates, the customization options may be limited for more advanced designers.
2
No refunds for unused subscriptions: Placeit does not offer refunds for periods of inactivity within your subscription, and you must ensure to cancel in advance if you don’t wish to be charged for the next month/year.
3
Automatic renewal of subscriptions: Subscriptions are billed automatically, so you should be mindful of canceling before the billing date if you wish to stop using the service.
4
Poor search and filtering of mockups: Finding the right mockup can be time-consuming due to the large number of options available.
5
Limited file formats: The only file formats available for download are PNG images and MP4 videos (plus GIFs when using the video-to-GIF converter), which restricts how you can use your designs after creating and downloading them.
